Our work is diverse but is unified by the collaborative process that is almost always involved in its creation.  Everybody on the team has a voice, especially the client. More particularly, the work represents designs that emphasize the user experience, because we care about people being able to successfully conduct their activities in the places we design. We care about making buildings and interiors that are beautiful and visually stimulating. We care making our designs budget-responsive and constructible, and fit for long-term use.

6903 Adams - Guttenberg, NJ

Proposed 9-story mixed use building includes 156 apartment units and 4,500 SF of street-level retail space. Project is viewed as a cornerstone for an emerging arts district in the surrounding area.    Apartments are provided in a mix of 1BR, 2BR, and 3BR units, including some designated as artist loft apartments.  A large tenant lounge and fitness center are located on the 9th floor, and will have direct views of NYC.  A Museum of Embroidery and Industry will be incorporated into the residential entry lobby.  On-site parking provided for 166 vehicles.

Building has a strong sustainable design focus and is targeting LEED Silver Certification.  A large-scale vegetated roof contributes to the storm water management system as well as reducing the heat island effect of construction in a dense urban area.  The parking levels include 4 EV charging stations.

Project received approval from the Guttenberg Joint Planning/Zoning Board in September 2020.
