Our work is diverse but is unified by the collaborative process that is almost always involved in its creation.  Everybody on the team has a voice, especially the client. More particularly, the work represents designs that emphasize the user experience, because we care about people being able to successfully conduct their activities in the places we design. We care about making buildings and interiors that are beautiful and visually stimulating. We care making our designs budget-responsive and constructible, and fit for long-term use.

Automat Kitchen

Automat Kitchen Restaurant, Jersey City, NJ

New interpretation of the original Horn and Hardart “Automat,” conceived as a customize-able quick serve restaurant.  Technology-enabled to allow both remote and on-site ordering, with customer-designated times for order completion and pick up.

Design theme creates a contemporary “of today” environment with subtle recalls to the 1940s and 1950s era of the original restaurant’s heyday.
